About Symonics

Symonics is a high-tech spin-off founded 2011 in the Southern German city of Tübingen. After ten years of research on high quality telephony, the founders have decided to make high quality telephone solutions available for everyone.

The spin-off is owned and led by Dr. Christian Hoene, Brigitte Brun, Patrick Schreiner and Michael Haun. While Ms Brun is an experienced international business manager, Dr. Hoene, Mr Schreiner and Mr Haun can look back on several years of research in the field of Internet telephony. The young spin-off is coached by the experienced manager and business coach Dr. Rolf Hecker who encouraged the founders to bring their user-oriented research to the market.

The founders of Symonics have declared it their mission to develop products and technologies for a more effective and high quality communication. They market them to OEMs to boost the audio quality of conference servers, collaboration platforms and telephones.

Symonics is hitting the ground running: In April 2011, immediately after founding, it won the bwcon "Best Business Award" bwcon. In the same month, it ensured the support of the German Ministry of Finance within the EXIST Technology Transfer Programme.

In March 2012, Symonic's continued its success story by winning the "IKT Innovativ" award at the CEBIT.
